Huge, dense cream-coloured beer over bright copper-amber ale, well-carbonated; shards of lace. Chocolate, caramel, wet dog, rainwater. Sweet, lots of caramel and even toffee. Very bland, characterless; lightly coloured malts finishing off all impressions. Medium carbonated, rather slick, medium body. Plus fade, tu meures.

(Bottle, 0.75 l - courtesy of brandman, at rosenbergh) The beer poured brown and quite clear. Its head was medium sized, dense and white. Aroma had molasses and mud. Palate was weaker than medium bodied and quite dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were molasses, metallicness, dry hay, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. Quite a mess and too earthy.

Bottled. An amber beer with an orangey head. The aroma has notes of fruit, malt, and elderflowers. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, fruit, and elderflowers, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle from Carrefour, Coquelles, Citi Europe, France, 21 March 2011 consumed 01.04.11 Loz said that she gets almond & biscuit, I get similar along with a harsh alcohol edge. Busy carbonation to this and it is malty in the mouth, soft also. Colour amber with off-white head. Its ok but not that exciting. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0
