500ml bottle from The Bottle Shop, Canterbury. Hazy gold, lasting thick off white head. Yeasty hoppy acidic aroma. Better in mouth. It’s a bit like a Summer Lightning me2 thing but hoppier and bitterer especially on the finish. Some yeast/rubber on aroma, but the mouthfeel and finish are more than decent. Some good satsuma type flavours. Maybe more clementine as I think about it. Likeable enough especially the finish. But still it’s another British bottle conditioned beer that has some issues with the bottle conditioning.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A gusher, producing a hazy, yellow-orange body and a diminishing off-white head. Slightly lemony nose with a little sour touch. Pale malts. It’s refreshing and quite quenching, with a little lemony sour touch up front, and some pale malts in the back. Medium body, a bit fizzy. Pleasant bitterness in the end. Decent, nothing more. 100814
