Cask at the commercial rooms Bristol. Clear light amber coloured pour with a thin scummy greyish head. Aroma is rustic nutty grain store, husks, light caramel biscuit. Flavour is tangy earthy grains, biscuit and nuts, mineral, light Berry. Palate is light and grainy, moderate carbonation. Meh.

Cask, handpump at The Green Man, Bristol, 28.01.12 Pours hazy amber with a white rim. There is a little bit of butteryness on the nose and less so in the mouth. This isn’t that refreshing or crisp as the description suggests, being more bland and unexciting in my opinion. A6 A3 T5 P3 Ov11 2.8

Cask at the CASK Pub & Kitchen on 23 July 2010. Amber with a lacing off-white head. Yeasty aroma and light herby hoppiness, and a hint of ginger/spice - but only just a hint. Citric back-taste on the roof of the mouth, leading to a hoppy finish. Smooth if slightly watery texture.

Cask-conditioned at the Portcullis, Clifton, Bristol 3/2/09. Deep amber in colour with a slight, off-white head. Sweet malty aroma and flavour, with a hint of grassy hops and decent bitter finish. Ok. Exclusive to Dawkins’ taverns in Bristol.
