Tap at Growler Guys. Amber pour with a modest head. The aroma is floral and pine, somewhat dank. Flavor is full of hop sweetness and modest bitters. Fresh dank piney hops and a little citrus. Pretty underwhelming reviews on this one, but I enjoyed it.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Milwaukee, 10/13/16. Clear pale golden, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of big lemon notes with a bit of earthy green hops, and pale malt. The taste is sweet and candied lemon, lemon peel, vanilla, pale malt, a bit of pine. Medium bodied, moderate lingering bitterness. Quite nice!

Bottle, a fortnight out of date. Pale god with a white head. Aroma is floral and weedy with bitter oranges and some hay. Sweet plain hayish malt with getting towards unpleasant weedy and herbal notes. Bitterness is only moderately strong but harsh. Like the water from a vase where the flowers have been left too long. Maybe caught this too late, maybe this much of this hop needs a richer platform. Alcohol is well hidden but there’s not much a payoff for what is a fairly strong beer. Not terrible but not much chop.

Draft @ Darby’s. Hazy pale tan. White fluffy head. Not pulling much aroma out of this, unfortunately. Earthy, light orange note. Moderate bitterness. Light yeastiness; behind that just a little pale malt sweetness.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Golden color. Strange aroma, tea, chamomile, lime tree, candies, all in small doses. Lean body, crisp, modern; the malt deserves a better hopping, this one is orangey, a but musky, candied orange peel, light celery. The alcohol perception is very well managed.
Good beer overall, but a bit weird.

12 oz bottle from a six pack from the grocery store. Aroma is lightly floral, creamed corn, chalky candy. Pours hazy golden with a nice white head with good retention and some lace. Taste is medium to highly bitter, faintly candy sweet, alcoholic, peppery. Not your typical citrus or pine-forward IPA here. The hops here are mostly providing bitterness without the usual flavors modern American IPAs have. Tasting good, though.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is very restrained, with very light bittering hops (it is Centennial after all) and dry toasted biscuity malt. Flavour is much sweeter than expected, with lots of sweet cereal malts and counterbalancing hops that don't have much flavour, just bitterness. Competently constructed but rather unexciting, as is the hop choice. Okay.

(Tap) clear, bright yellow colour with a small beige head; aroma of jam, citrus; intense, balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish

Bottle from Bine & Vine. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma of luscious floral hops. Med body. Luscious. Very floral with some spice and citrus. Not excessively dry, and not harshly bitter. Fresh and lush. Delicious.
