Brewed with finesse, this lager pours a deep golden colour with a thin head; the nose is fruity with notes of pineapple and citrus. The palate is softly carbonated and light in body with some mild malty flavours followed by a crisp finish.

500ml can from my local LCBO. Wow big aroma of corn, and cooked veggies, with some dry straw. Flavor is quite bitter, and loaded with cheap corn, and grains, wow, this is a mess. Corny, and quite bitter with nasty corny, sweet veggie after taste. drain pour.

Smells a little hoppy, a little skunky. Shitty palate, shitty aftertaste. Shitty blond lager. Avoid at all costs.

Canette 500ml.

Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is chalk. I’ve never had that in a beer before, but I have no better word to describe it. Flavor is medium sweet with no bitterness. Watery and thin. Finishes sweet as well. Crappy lager. How is this a premium lager? It certainly doesn’t fit the describtion on this site. 030311

Belgian lager... two words that do not sound good together. Especially when the word "premium" is in front of lager. Not a good start. Even the can does not make it seem like a "killer" brew from Belgium. Pours a golden colour with a foamy white head that is big, has pretty good retention and creates a bit of lace. Smells like grain malt for a few seconds and then, chemical plastics and gross hay. Then, if you let it sit a bit, and calms down, and goes to a more normal hoppy-malt combination. Lightly carbonated (small bubbles) with some big bubble sitting at the bottom of the glass (waiting to come up when the glass is touched). Flat and sticky mouthfeel. Plain grain, corn and alcohol in the taste. Not refreshing like Euro swills, and not crisp like American lagers.

500ml can from corner shop on way home from work. Mid gold, thin near white head. It’s a half decent premium lager thing. Bit stale on the aroma. But there is some sweetish lemon. But its just a bit bland. But ok.

A blonde lager with a thick white head. In aroma, chalky malt with german hops, grassy notes, not bad. In mouth, a smooth eurolager with chalky notes, biscuitty malts, light bodied. Not bad. Tasted Dec. 24 2010.
