THE Others tasting. Hoping this would have matured nicely but itโs turned. Opaque dark purplish - brown beer. Good tan head. Palate is light and very dry. Seltzer minerals. A little subtle cherry. Semi dry finish. Not lasted well at all.

Bottle at THE others tasting, thanks to Ken. It pours very dark brown with a medium tan head. The nose is sour cherry, roasted malt, toast, berry yoghurt, light creaminess and musty notes. The taste is roasted malt, tart red berry, tangy cherry, bramble, faint chocolate and earth with a dry, berry finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and creamy mouth-feel. Ok. Definitely better than the frambozen!

Bottle at The Others Tasting, London - big thanks to Ken for being Ken. Pours dark, red-brown with a fizzy, fading brown foam head. Fresh, tart cherry nose. Tart cherry flavor with some baking cocoa, moderate roast, some funk. Light to medium bodied with average to high carbonation. Tangy finish, some berry pit bitterness, tart cherry and raspberry, wet wood, some charred wood. Not bad.

Medium brownish-reddish head. Black body. Roasty dusty chocolate aroma with bready metallic cherry notes. Dry, and faintly acidic, roasty sugary cherry taste with funky barnyard notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish, almost biting tart mouthfeel Dry-acidic chocolatey cherry and wood aftertaste with metallic notes. Really unusual, and nice. (0.75l bottle shared by KnutAlbert.)
