Cask @ 3 Judges. Amber colour, creamy white head. Aroma has caramel malts and a bit of citrus. Flavour is caramel, citrus, bit of biscuit.

Cask (gravity) @ The Sheep Heid Inn, 43-45 The Causeway, Duddingston, Edinburgh, Scotland EH15 3QA.Clear medium amber orange color with a small to average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, fruity, butter notes, moderate hoppy, orange. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft. [20090412]

(Cask at Ye Olde Mitre, Hatton Garden, London, 15 Apr 2009) Dark amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, nutty nose with notes of dried fruit, nuts and earthy hops. Malty, nutty taste with dark fruit, dried figs and dusty hops. A decent, fairly standard bitter.

Cask at the Three Mariners, Hythe. Amber gold with a thin off-white head; thin with fruity malts and a light bitter finish. Refreshing but unexciting.

Cask handpull at The Wenlock Arms, London. Deep copper, thin white head. Fruity hoppy beer. Good hoppy fruity beer. Fruit is fruit salady, hops are white pepper hop and drying. Anyway, it’s good.
