12/2/2019. Bottle from Tuffins Supermarket, Craven Arms. Pours clear pale bright gold with a small off-white head. Aroma of hops, fruit, flowers, grass and caramel. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Oily texture, soft carbonation. Sweet caramel finish. Pretty good.

Cask at GBBF’17, day one, 08/08/17. Clear golden with a decent off white cap. Nose is light citric peel, pale malts, light sulphur whiff, grains. Taste comprises bread dough, lemon rind, pale malts, straw, grains. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Whelming golde affair.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and fairly dry, modest carbonation. Grainy sweet malts. Dry floralness and insipid orange citrus. Tired tasting.

Cask at 2015 GBBF. Talbot Blond 4.4% brilliant clear blond with a bready aroma. Taste is bready and it has a mild crisp finish. A decently balanced blond. 3.5

Cask at GBBF 2015, day 5 - London. Pours totally clear gold with a frothy white head. The nose holds grainy pale bread, slight leaves. Light sweet flavor with more grainy pale bread, leaves, faint caramel, orange rind. Light bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Finishes with alright balance, more grainy pale malts, lightly toasted sugars, dirty hay. Tasty beer. (August 2015, score: 3.4)

On cask at the Firefly, Worcester. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - lemon and pale malt. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a dry finish. Overall - very drinkable on a humid afternoon.
