Draught @ Brasserie 4:20. Aroma is somewhat sweet and malty with toffee candy. No signs of roastiness. Flavour has nuts, coffee, some sweet malty tones, smoke and hints of toffee candy. Sticky palate. Rich & unusual. Could have more imperial stout & more smoke - but not bad this way either.

Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks Stas. Dark brown to black with a tan head. Lovely smoky aroma with some sausages and roastiness. Sweetish flavor, rather smoky, somewhat meaty, with chocolate and some roastiness, finishes drier. Medium-bodied. Very nice.
