Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark brown, with fine cappuccino foam. Aroma is malty and chocolate. Body is partially dense, with moderate carbonation. Taste is heavily toasted, with good sweetness and some roasty bitterness. Final keeps a good mouthful, but not particularly long.

Bottle from Hopt. Heavy coffee aroma with roasted malt, mocha, beany coffee, espresso, some chocolate. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a moderate roasty bitterness. Body is medium. Very tasty Coffee Porter, strikes the right chord with me.

I'm heading back to England after four days in Edinburgh, but the train is still very much in Scotland so this could count as one last beer in the country. It's a very stated coffee porter, enhanced by its strength, which of course is well hidden other than its very good body.

Black beer, thick beige head. Aroma has coffee and malt. Flavour follows suit. Plenty of coffee, aniseed, toasty malt, some bitter chocolate, a little toffee. Earthy, roasty flavour. Lovely.

Bottle, 0.33l. Thick black pour, no head, just very thin brown layer on top. Minimal lacing. Nice on the nose, strong roasted malt and coffee notes. Full body, soft carbonation. Creamy texture, very chewy. Smooth. Roasty bittersweet taste. Huge coffee aroma, roasted malts and coffee beans, cocoa and dark chocolate. Caramel and toffee in the background, mild lingering alcohol burn. Warming, pleasantly liquory. Long finish, dry. Very good.

Tap at Craft Room. Pitch black body with a creamy brownish head, nearly a 5. Big, very pleasant, sweetish coffee aroma - the coffee dominating everything. Dry taste, rows of nuts and coffee, along with some dark bread. An excellent porter by all means. Not my favorite in the world, but very well made and I'd have it again (multiple times).

On tap at Valhalla Zagreb. Almost black coloured, small to medium sized brown head, light chocolate in the nose. Roasted malt, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, mild coffee and pleasant roasty finish. Very good brew.
