Lightly hazy amber beer, big cream colour head. Palate is softish but has decent fine carbonation. Airy malts with mild creamy sweetness. Hops are modest citrus with a little citric peel. Mild bitterness morphs in to a little sweet floralness. Very light touches of pine and hop spice. Light finish. All the building blocks of a fine IPA but overall this seems a little recessed.

Rogue 6 Hop IPA 6.6% Pint at Imazato. A clear orange copper with a juicy fresh citrus hop bouquet. Medium-full bodied with a bitter pine, mild citrus and semi-sweet flavor. Pretty nice and easy to drink.

On tap at Rogue in Portland, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of piney hops and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is super fresh, with loads of fresh piney hops, some resinous hop oils and sufficient bready malt to back. Wonderfully balanced, with a somewhat astringent but pleasant finish. Excellent.

Gold coloured with a huge head of foam. Slow shrinking leaving behind nice lacing.
Strong hoppy notes of pine and mild grapefruit on the nose. I can’t pick up anything remotely malty.
Piney and quite bitter taste up front that’s interspersed with hints of fruity hops and a cracker like flavour from the malt. More of that please.
Swishing the beer in my mouth does intensify the malt presence but not enough for my liking.
Dang nice mouthfeel here and an easy drinker, I would buy this again.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but is a recent release. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, melon, lemon/lime zest, orange peel, pine, light honey, cracker, spicy rye, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate pale/rye malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, melon, lemon/lime zest, orange peel, pine, light honey, cracker, spicy rye, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness and rye spiciness after the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, melon, lemon/orange rind, pine, cracker, spicy rye, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate pale/rye malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and zero hop astringency after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness and rye spiciness, that increases through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, sticky/resinous, and lightly grainy/creamy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice IPA. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate pale/rye malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

22oz bomber pours with a clear copper body that supports a light tan head of foam. The modest aroma offers up pineapple, soft sweetened floral hops, a lime sensation and then more floral hops that get a little perfumy at the end of the draw. The taste is smooth on the palate due to a perceived low level of carbonation. I get pineapple and cantaloupe heading quickly into mildly bitter floral hops. Toward the finish a lime note appears as it becomes briefly resiny. At times the finish has a cracker malt sensation. All in all the flavor works for me.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours coppery gold with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of non-citrus fruits and resin. Med body or better. It’s a bit creamy from lots of smooth carbonation. Flavor is some citrus, some light stone fruit, and a bunch of resin/green stuff. Smooth, not entirely dry, and very bitter in a non-harsh manner. It’s very drinkable for those who like bitter in the mouth!
