Bottle shared at THT July. Bit (only 5 years) past best before date. Hazy golden with white head. Honey, raisins, butter, cardboard. Quite sweet and medium bitter. Medium bodied. Yeah the age doesn’t help here at all.

opalescent golden colour, moderate sized off-white head; aroma of floral honey, peach, orange zest, maybe some earthy-cellary notes, too; taste of honey, candy sugar, overripe peach, some biscuit and spicy notes; surprisingly good, especially taking into account that I bought it around 3 month ago for half price in a webshop - so it is now probably over its ideal age

0,33l bottle at home bought recently from Etre Gourmet. BB 01/2012. amber hazy color, small white head. smells nutty, honey, parfumy, peach, spices, lots of marzipan, bitter almonds. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes nutty, oxidation, some weird fruit notes, marzipan, dark breadish, peppery, spices. finishes lightly dry with notes of dark bread, spices and some marzipan. still rather drinkable but has cardboardish / weird fruity notes. overall decent.

Pours unclear blonde, good white head. Smell is madeira ( because of the age ) . Very intense but nothing else than that. Taste is rather bitter- still - on top of the madeira sweetness. The taste itself is very common, one in a dozen aged blonde beers will taste like this, but it has got the bitterness on top of it to set it appart, still. Quite fun to still get to try this, and the bitterness is an unnexpected treat.

Lupiline’s second, launched in 2008 but discontinued when this nice little beer company ceased its activities. Thick, creamy, off-white head, orange peach blonde colour, cloudy. Aroma of apricot, peppery hops, orange peel, vanilla, tonic water. Fruity and citrussy, fresh onset, rounded, malty, dryish, strongly hop bitter finish, long. A lot more assertive than the friendly image would suggest.
