Started out life as Primula, brewed at Alvinne. After a complaint of bully Haacht, brewers Jan & Veerle took their beer to De Graal, rebaptizing it "Koriala".

Bottle. Pours clear golden with airy white head. Clear hoppy aroma with fruity and corianderlike notes. Bitter, hoppy flavour with distinct touches of coriander and flowers. Dry finish. Not bad as such, but quite demanding.

Hazy amber beer with a big bubbly white head. Light dry palate. Watery pale malt, insipid spice. Tiny bit of citrus. Dry finish. Dull, dull, dull! And too dry. Nice label though!

Hazy golden coloured body with a thinnish, white head that leaves a nice lace. Aroma of pale malt, wheat, yeast, spices, coriander seed, curacao, light hops and a nice sweet pineapple scent. Medium-bodied; Assertive spicey belgian yeast with some good malt, a little spice kick and a good subdued hoppy bite with some grapefruit near the end. Aftertaste is quite complex with the full range coming into play from yeast to wheat to hops to spice and finishing with a dry, herbal, saison and biere de garde type taste. Overall, a nice and complex beer that is very nice and should be sampled by all. I sampled this 33 cL stubby bottle purchased from Bier Tempel in Bruxelles, Belgium on 02-January-2011 for €2,50 sampled at home on the other side of the pond in Washington on 08-August-2011.

22/06/2011 33cl bottle @ home - BB: 6/2011 (2011-271)
Pretty cloudy yellowish beer, white very creamy and stable head, adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, lots of peaches, mango, other sweet yellow fruits. Some candi sugar, touch of yeast, sweet malts, citrussy hops. A lot going on here. MF: good carbon, full body, creamy texture. Taste: fruity, citrus, a bit sweet, turning to bitter. Aftertaste: more citrus, ending pretty dry. Damn, I discovered this one too late. :(
