Lighthouse Lager is the youngest member of Belize Brewing’s beer family. It has a soft golden color with a more floral aroma. It is brewed with the finest Canadian Pilsner malt and an expertly chosen combination of German hops that delivers its refined subtle aroma. Only the freshest yeast is chosen for this delicate beer, slightly more dry but with a noble hop aroma and flavor. Crisp and refreshing, it can be enjoyed any time of day. In terms of color, taste and alcohol content Lighthouse is lighter than the other existing beers in the portfolio.

Quite possibly the first and only 237ml bottle I’ll ever have. Shared @ Shrewsbury Beer Share, courtesy of Gene! Many thanks. Pours clear gold with small foam head. Unsurprisingly unremarkable, but also not that bad either. It’s a straightforward lager with moderate bitterness.

Cheers Gene for this new country tick: 237cl bottle between 5 of us at the December 2015 Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group meeting. Just enough in my glass to see it was golden with a wispy head. Light/weak floral nose, bland in the taste, refreshing on a sunny beach or the jungle, but not a great beer for a windy, wet and cold December night in Shropshire: scored objectively.

Bottle, courtesy of Saxo. It’s a clear, golden beer with a decent off-white head. Grains and fruits on the nose, and a faint touch of dms. The flavor is grainy and fruity, half decent actually, with some sweetness and a faint bitterness. Medium body, dry. A hint of metal and bitterness finishes this one. It’s better than the Belikin Beer, but that’s all. Definitely not worth a revisit. 100508

Thanks to Yngwie who left a taster for me while we were drinking outside Ølbutikken early on a Saturday morning. Straw-golden body, no head. Sweet lime-like smell and taste. Rather diluted palate. Just about drinkable (Copenhagen, 08.05.2010).
