Sampled from bottle thanks to dad. Mahogany red to brown color, small to average sized beige head. Smell malts, caramel, some sweetness, plums. Taste malts, caramel, slightly a caramelly bitterness, lightly molasses. Medium body, medium carbonation. Quite enjoyable.

330 ml bottle, probably from Dagli’brugsen Skødstrup, as Thisted Brown Ale Nr. 1. ABV is 6.9%. Ingredients include sugar, liquorice and antioxidants E300 and E223. Very dark brown to ruby colour, large and creamy tan head. Very malty aroma with strong notes of caramel. The flavour is also very malty, notes of caramel and liquorice, hints of mild Christmas spices. Very modest bitterness.

0,33 l. bottle from the supermarket. Label says 6,9 % alcohol. Dark red-brown colour with a small beige head. From the aroma I get roasted malts, dark fruits, and dark sugar. Roasted, sweet malts, nuts, and bitterness. As the beer warms up, the taste really unfolds. A very nice brown ale, and the modest price tag considered, this is a very good beer!

Deep ruby brown with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of caramel and toffee, with dried fruit and vanilla, with a bit of diacetyl and a phenolic sweet spicy hint. Sweet malty flavour with lots of fruit, some caramel and roast and a touch of diacetyl.
