Cask at White Horse Parson’s Green. It pours deep amber, with a thin beige head. The nose is sandalwood, sweaty sock, leather and some dried fruit sweetness. The taste is wood, leather, dust, alcohol warmth, dark fruit and wood varnish, with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Decent.

Cask (handpump) @ White Horse on Parsons Green, 1-3 Parsons Green, London, Greater London England SW6 4UL.Clear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy with butter dabs (islands), good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, raisin, spicy notes, moderate hoppy, grapefruit, light licorice - anis. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20091231]

Cask@White Horse, Parsons Green, London. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is wood, nectar, some fruits and raisins. Flavour is fruits, nuts, wood, yeast and some mild notes of grass a s well. Smooth and pleasant brew.

(Cask at White Horse, Parson’s Green, London, 27 Nov 2009) Dark amber colour with brief, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with dried fruit and caramel. Malty taste with notes of dried fruit, caramel and a slightly earthy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body with some malt sweetness throughout. Tasty and nice beer.
