Poured from a 750 ml bottle.
Aroma is fruity with the SARA funk notes of stone fruit, green grapes and lemons. Nice herbal notes that compliment the funky notes nicely. Light grain and faint oak and alcohol notes.
Pours a slightly hazy, golden orange with a medium large, thick, pillowy, white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers. Light lacing and small legs.
Flavor is a bit sweet with a medium light, but fairly well rounded, acidity. Light grain notes. Medium bitterness and light alcohol notes. Fruity with notes of stone fruit, lemon and grapes. The mugwort and wormwood come through and interact nicely with the fruit and acidity as they longer into the finish. Hints of oak.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a solid saison. The herbal notes work really well with the SARA funky fruit notes. The herbs add a bit of a bitterness that lingers.
