A dark, malty, spicy seasonal ale. Brewed with black, pale chocolate, and crystal malts and English hops. In keeping with the Yule season, this beer is spiced with mistletoe, ivy, and poinsettia. Just joking about the spicing; so you can put away the stomach pump. Actually spiced with coriander and juniper berries. Thanks to Glenn and Davy at Alvinne brewery for their advice about juniper berries.

4/III/2012 on cask @ ACBF (Moen) - BB: n/a (2012-210)

Clear nut brown beer, no head. Aroma: caramel, toast, nutty, bready, little sweet. MF: no carbon, light to medium boy. Taste: little bitter, green banana, toast, nuts. Aftertaste: bisquit, shortbread, bitter walnuts, green banana. This sure is an English style ale, more in aroma than in flavour though. Solid, but not big. Still good for it's ABV though. /me adds another point for overall score.

Cask at Sussex Arms, Twickenham. A dark ruby coloured pour with a thin white head on top. Fruity, malty aroma. Tastes fruity, malty, spice. Rather thin for a winter beer but it is OK.
