Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Golden amber in colour with a lasting off-white head; light, floral aroma; medium bodied and sweet with fruit and nutty flavours; followed by a sharp finish with a light citrus edge. A very competent bitter.

Cask-conditioned at the Staple Hill Oak (JDW), Bristol 6/12/09. Deep amber with a big, frothy off-white head. Malty aroma of caramel and red fruit with a hint of spicy hop. Flavour was much the same with a lingering, bitter finish. Ok.
