Town Crier is a full-flavoured golden ale with a big voice. The elegant straw coloured bitter has a hint of sweetness which is complemented by subtle hop flavours leading to a dry finish. The nose of crisp fruit is apparent with a refreshing balance of taste, a bitter which is supremely consistent and full of flavour.
Brewed using locally sourced Maris Otter malting barley and Worcestershire Goldings and Progress hops.
Bottle Notes - Town Crier is a bottle conditioned beer which contains sediment, pour carefully and best stored upright at cellar temperature 10 - 12 degrees.

Gravicask, shared with Finn at the 24th Carmarthen Beer Festival. Bubbles on the surface of bright golden body. Dotted spots on glass. Grassy hops on the nose, hints of citrus. Moderate taste of oily hops and bread. Bittersweet endnotes. Okay bitter version. (04.10.2018).

Bottle. Foggy golden colour, moderate white head of good retention. Aroma: sweet biscuit, blood that disappears after some minutes, spicy hop. Light to medium body. Medium sweet and light bitter taste. Floral and spicy hopping. Not bad.

Dark golden/light orange. Head is not big but pretty thick and nicely persistent. Moderate lacing. Aroma of light caramel and crackery/crisp malts, a herbal hint and subtle fruitiness. Taste follows the aroma with light to average sweetness and bitterness. Finish is dry and distinctly bitter, but in a delicate way. Both aroma and taste are not bold, but definitely fine. Light body with low to medium crispness, easy mouthfeel. Nice one

Cask at the Bell & Talbot, Bridgnorth. Light gold with a small uneven white head. Light malty aroma. Taste picks up a bit with a basic but pleasant bittersweet. Hops aren’t particularly noticeable so the malt rules the roost. A bit warm and buttery in the finish. No thanks.

Bottle picked up from Morrison’s Minehead. Light golden yellow coloured pour with a thin lasting white head and a fine haze. Aroma is nice fresh grains / straw faint citrus. Nice little saison yeast thing on the nose as well. Flavour is composed light earthy grains, little wheat, light citrus. Palate is nice and grainy, moderate carbonation. Pretty decent.
