This Belgian-inspired brown ale is aged in oak barrels with a flora of acidifying bacterias, then blended with a fresh beer.

Bottle @Ulfborg Tasting. Clear, dark red brown, beige head. Aroma has sour berries, wood, vinegar. Sour flavour, woody, tart berries, chocolate.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Unclear red brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, tart fruit and wood. Flavor is quite sweet and very acidic. Dry and very acidic finish. 150918

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are brett, lactose acid, fruits, candy sugar, wood, red wine, malt and hops. Nice sour finish.

Poured at Shelton Festival, copper beige with medium creamy off white head. The aroma is leather, oak, sour fruit. Thin body, vinegar, dark fruit, oak, very tart, good.

A deep dark brown sour ale with a thin lacing mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with loads of lactic acid, Brett, ground cherries, very nice and complex. In mouth, a sweet fruity malt with loads of ground cherries, lactic acid, Epsom salts, light Brett, very nice and complex. On tap at L'autre Oeil.

Außergewöhnliches Sour, hatte noch nie so einen malzigen Vertreter. In der Nase merkt man es gleich, ich denke spontan an Trauben-Nuss-Schokolade. Und ähnlich ist das Bier auch im Trunk. Mittig fängt das Malz an deutlicher zu werden, bis in den Abgang die dunklen Noten überwiegen, Holz und Schokolade. Ausgesprochen lecker!

Bottle. A- Vinegar, cherry, oak, coconut. A- Dark red color, dark liquid, off white head. T- Acidic, oak, mild funk, slight vinegar, coconut, vanilla. P- Medium body, average texture, high carbonation, acidic finish. O- Bottle of unknown vintage. Presumably less than 2 years old. Very acidic and high carbonation. A bit too much and hard to get through a full glass, albeit good. A unique note of coconut and vanilla as it warms.
