Bottle from B&M Bargains, Liverpool. Yellow coloured with a very thin head. Hopped but with not the best sweetness to accompany it.

500ml Bottle from B&M - Unremarkable golden ale, clear yellow body, thick white head that lasts not that long. Nose is a bit like a lemon biscuit, not too sharp, with a hint of cereal there. Taste is clean, fresh and not very bitter. refreshing, yes - but that’s the only upside.

Bottle at home in London. Pours perfectly clear gold with a fairly rich, foamy white head. The nose offers some grainy, pale malts, light cereal, straw and hay. Light sweet flavor with some further cereal malts, light tangy hay, some faint cardboard, dust, lightly toasted straw. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Crisp finish with some crackery pale malts, mellow bitter hay and faintly tangy citrus, mostly lemon. The beer comes across as a touch watery. It’s an elementary golden ale, but not generally offensive.

Average. No dominating flavours or anything of real note when drinking. It’s not unpleasant, it’s just not really ANYTHING.

500ml bottle from Ashford Sainsburys. Clear gold with thick white head. Wadworth yeast aroma and hint of pasteurisation. Softish in mouth. Some grassy hop. Some bitterness on finish. Yes pasteurised. Yes the Wadworth house yeast. Stinging citrus bitterness on finish.
