After a first top fermentation, Vivat Triple benefits from an old-fashioned skimming, by hand with an open tank system unique in France. This golden, two-grain beer is then kept in a tank for a secondary fermentation of around 4 weeks before continuing its refining thanks to a triple fermentation in the bottle. Two strains of yeast are involved here to carry out the different fermentation processes! Vivat Triple has a sweet aromatic complexity with citrus notes, perfectly balanced, with good length in the mouth.

A real bottle conditioned beer directly inspired from the Vivat Blonde, they share the same specific yeast and same cocktail of hops. It is the slight addition of spices that combine with the refermentation in bottle that gives this beer all of its aromatic complexity, sweet with citrus notes. Perfectly balanced, a generous hopping, a round and long finish are the main qualities of this exceptional beer.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, orangey, deep golden colour with huge, thick, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, snow white head. Fruity, minimally alcoholic aroma, notes of apricot, peach mirabelle, apple. Taste is malty fruity, dry hoppy overtones, a spicy yeasty touch, some warming alcohol in the finish.

Bottle from Carrefour and drunk at home. Hazy amber lasting beige head. Little bit of vegetable, but mostly quite drinkable malts. Little bit of hop. It’s not much of a tripel to be honest and I got a little bit of vegetal flavour that put me off.

Hazy yellow color, good white head, lots of lace. A bit tart-citrus fruity aroma, yeast. Medium-bodied. Fruity (apricot, watermelon) with tartish twist. Light alcohol and quick finish.

Looks great, and has a decent tart spicy alcoholic nose, but it ends there. Any flavor profile is overpowered by an intense metallic off flavor. I would avoid this one until they get a fresh shipment

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks troubles. Slightly hazy golden with a white head. Yeasty and fruity aroma with a bit of spiciness and a bit of acetone. Sweetish fruity flavor with yeast, spiciness and alcohol, finishes with a bit of alcohol bitterness.

33cl bottle from Alko. Poured folden with a thick, lacing, beautiful white head. Aroma has yeast, spicy, citrusfruity notes with some barnyardy, funky notes as well. Flavor has barnyard notes, fruits, hops and yeast notes, but also quite a lot of residual sugar, noticeable in the finish. Otherwise a very tasty tripel.
