Sampled from a 16.9 oz brown bottle this beer poured a tan-golden color with a huge fluffy yellow-white head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was sweet bread, honey, clove and had a faint herbal presence. The flavor was honey, bread and candied golden fruits. The finish was long and the body fairly full. Nice.

Bottle, 5.0%. Mildly plasticky aroma. Cloudy grey orange colour. Small stable white head. The flavour starts off with some OK yeast, there is a hint of plastic, but nothing bad. A bit rubbery mouthfeel in the finish.

Bottle 50cl. @ home.Unclear hazy light medium orange color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light malty, paper, moderate yeasty, banana, light acidic fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, fruity and fresh. Body is medium, texture is watery - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20090930]

My big bottle was labeled malteser weissbier wheat beer, not heller. Very nice interesting pour with the gunk on the bottom and all. Almost orangy hazy color. Creamy head. Nice carbonation on the palate and visible in the glass. Tingly and interesting on the tongue. Pond water flavors (in a good way) with a citrus bite, but not bitter. Good finish; easy going and mild. Fun and flavorful without being offensive. Glad I bought this one. $5 per 1 pint 0.9 oz bottle. I heard a rumor that the pope likes this one, and I agree with him.

Color is orange and cloudy. Rich, foamy head. Wheaty and fruity aroma. Nice carbonation, very smooth, delicious taste laced with hints of banana and wheat. I will definitely go for this weissbier again.
