Beer number four on a random tasting session at home with myself on 2nd July 2015. 500ml bottle labelled as Parkers Piece: BBE Feb 2016. Poured slowly into a UK pint sleeve. Mahogany hue to the body, clear with a poor, wisp head: pity, I like a decent top to my beer. Fruity nose and taste with plenty going on for the senses to chase. Taken with some Vintage Cheddar Cheese it played along nicely: it’s semi-sweet maltiness challenging the strong cheese and it’s saltiness. My sweet tooth really took to this: another fine beer from Wolf, just need some terrified wheat or something to give it a decent head!

Bottle at home split with Sarah. As Paker’s Piece 5.0%. Clearly not a porter. Medium amber clear coloured pour with a thin lasting off white head. Aroma is toffee sweet, unrefined sugars, rum and raisin. Flavour is composed of, caramel, toffee, with earthy grassy bitterness. Some raisin and dried fruits, possible yeast derived. Palate is sem-sweet, slightly chalky on the toungue. This is definately not a porter. I would say ESB.

Gravity dispense at the CPFC beer festival, 2013. Reddish-brown pour with an off-white head. Quite a nice nose. Licorice, toffee, caramel and marzipan in there. Licorice toffee flavour with a sweet toffee base. Heavy malt action. Malt laden finish. Nice.
