473 ml can. Pours amber with light head. Aromas of fruity esters, dull citrus, and bready malts. Flavor of same. Not bad, but pretty subdued overall with malts having a big presence and not really letting the hops and yeast shine.

I don't normally buy Belgian-style ales from breweries that don't specialize in them, but this is the Tony Dewald tribute beer. Golden colour, and it drops bright. It's got a fruity aroma. On the palate, sticky pale malts, low bitterness. Some fruitiness, also some plastic accents. It's relatively clean, but I'd prefer the accents were more on the tree fruit esters than the plastic phenols...just a slightly lower fermentation temperature probably. A touch more bitterness would be advisable, too, especially if coming from one of those mellow continental varietals.
