Boss Tweed is 9.3% of hazy swagger. So much swagger it’s been one of the Midwest’s highest-rated hazy double IPAs for 7 years and running! An unrestrained, must-try hazy brew bursting with citrusy hops and tropical peach, mango, and tangerine aromas.
A nice pilsner malt backbone with a touch of Vienna provides balance and a lingering sweetness on the back end with a hint of warming from the higher alcohol content.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated October 11, 2018. Aroma is very hop forward with nice tropical fruit and citrus notes. Some mango, pineapple, orange and grapefruit with light resin and dank notes. Pours a murky, hazy dirty straw color with a large, thick, pillowy, off-white head that recedes slowly. High lacing and small legs. Flavor has a medium light sweetness with light bready malt and oat notes. Medium high bitterness with a hint of alcohol. Moderate mango, orange and grapefruit hop notes with some lighter guava, resin and dank notes. Light esters of stone fruit. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low, but present alcohol warmth. Overall, a really nice DIPA with a solid hop profile and some complimentary esters. Malt backbone carries the hops and esters well. Balanced bitterness.

Refrigerated 16 oz. aluminum can poured into a glass. Opaque orange with small white head. Aroma is citrus hops, medium body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is citrus hops and a little booze. I prefer M-43.

Can. Muddy medium orange-brown body, like an apricot puree, topped by a big foamy off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruit and fruitskin- papaya and pineapple- maybe more spicy/bitter elements than in their ME-MI. The body is a big sweet and tart citrus splash, with orange/tangerine, papaya, peach, grapefruit, and bubblegum, finishing with lingering citrus. Creamy, chewy, tart and sweet with muddled bitterness. I think this is my favorite of the bunch, just delicious and lovely.

Can, shared. Pours a cloudy, dull yellow, with a medium, off-white head. The nose is mango, pine, white sugar, light rye, and pine. Sweet and juicy, with a mild bitterness. Medium body, with a sticky, pulpy feel. This is an easy, juicy, and crisp IPA. Nice.

Can. Really hazy juicy golden pour. Aroma of vegetal mosaic, pineapple, mango, orange, bitter herbs and bready malt. Taste has juicy papaja, caramel, mango, bready malt, orange and a bitter hoppy finish. Potent and very tropical. Good stuff.
