This barrel-aged blend of Speedway Stout and Beer Geek Vanilla Shake has been aged in premium bourbon barrels with the addition of locally roasted coffee and three varieties of vanilla beans. Each sip transports your taste buds to a world of silky smoothness, where the bold flavors of coffee and vanilla dance harmoniously with the subtle hints of sweet bourbon.

473ml can, 2024 rebrew "From the Archives" edition, canned 8th March 2024.
Pours pitch black with a thin dark brown head.
Aroma dominated by vanilla, plus chocolate, coffee, bourbon.
Taste is again dominated by sweet creamy vanilla, rich coffee and chocolate, bourbon, oak, and some pretty warming boozy notes, roasty bitterness.
Full bodied, quite thick for a BA stout, very smooth silky mouthfeel.
A little boozy, but seriously tasty stuff!

Redelijk volle body.

0.473 l can from 'Beer Republic', canned in March 2024. Black with a thin, slightly fluffy, quickly collapsing, beige head. Intensely sweetish-malty, quite roasty, a little fruity aroma of dark chocolate, mocha, vanilla, some bourbon and a touch of dark fruits. Fairly sweet, malty, rather roasty-bitter, minimally fruity taste of dark chocolate, mocha, licorice, vanilla, bourbon and light dark fruits, followed by a long, heavily roasty-bitter, gently boozy finish. Medium to full body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Heavy and rough beer, super intense, quite tasty and enjoyable nevertheless.

A lot of vanilla (maybe a bit artificial), some chcocolate, moderately to highly sweet. Taste is along the same lines. Good one.
