Clouded deep brown with a one finger tall beige head of medium retention. Toasted malts, massive lovely esters, treacle, bread, vinous notes, brandy, oak barrel, some hop. Light sweet, low to light bitterness. Dense. Flavourfull.

Eventually found myself taking a sip and forgetting I wasn’t drinking port wine (my love). Super strong cognac presence, yet not overwhelming. Fig Newtons, prunes, sweet malt. Boozy AF. Not for the faint of heart, but certainly for the love of god.

Burk från Revolution, 2020. Rubinröd/mahogny, klar med liten ljusbeige krona. Kraftfull och eldig med tydlig närvaro av fat. Massor av cognac, varma päron, likörpralin, sockersötma, ek och snäll kryddighet mot en botten av klassiskt brittiskt barleywine storlek större. Mycket gott.
