Bottled. A dark brown beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has strong notes of toffee as well as medium notes of malt and fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and spices as well as lighter notes of roasted malt, leading to a lightly roasted finish.

Warning! Early amateur rating! A very dark ale brewed with honey. Crisp and malty with a minerally zing. Not bitter but not sweet either. Very drinkable. Nice label! Here kitty kitty!

Bottle 50 cl. Clear dark brown with an orange hue and a beige head. Lightly tart and fruity nose. Quite full-bodied with dried fruit and hard roasted malt - and a Belgian yeastiness... Has a warming alcohol in the finish. Quite enticing - sorta like a Belgian Dubbel! 190110

Bottle, picked up from the Dodgy Deli’, Cowley Rd, Oxford This poured like an erupting volcano, crikey it was lively. Black in colour with huge beige head. Aroma berries and a bit sour. Tasted very fruity, with sour edge, finished smoother but there was a dryness, this was a beer that at first I was unsure of but gradually warmed to, not bad but didn’t really come across as a typical stout.

50cl bottle from the brewery. Blak beer with lasting thick tight beige head. Hedgerow frit and berb aroma, honey and hops. Full in mouth with nice black fruits, some hop. Could do with a tad longer finish. Alcohol doesn’t overwhelm it. Quite light and lithe instead of heavy and ark. Nice. Good dark bitter choc finish with more honey. Finish is drying . I rather like this.
