Cask at Old Coffee House. Back from the dead. It pours clear golden with a small white head. The nose is juicy orange citrus, peach, nectarine, candy, earth and wood. The taste is pleasantly bitter, earthy Chinook hops, pine, oily hop, varnish, citrus rind and pepper with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Very drinkable indeed. Has that classic Brodies high hoppage cask ale character. Punchy, yet refreshing bitterness.

Cask@the Bodega, Newcastle upon Tyne. Golden looks with a medium creamy white head. Promising nose packed full of fragrant hop and citrus, as was the gently sweet flavour which showed off the chinook to great effect. Very drinkable with decent body and a very tidy bitter finish. Well worth a look.
