Cask ale, half-pint, shared with Finn at Sir Richard Owen (JDW) in Lancaster. Slightly hazed orange coloured body, filmy layer, fair lacing. Vague toffee nose. Moderate taste profile of toffee, biscuit and a dried fruity ending. A bit mealy in the mouth. Fair enough. (06.02.2019).

Bottle at 3.6% ABV. Music amber pour with average off-white head. A thin foam layer stays. Nice laces. Aroma: caramel, buscuit, metal, hopy hints. Light body. Malty front taste. Pretty dry. Caramel. The ending is balanced. The hops show spicy and earthy light bitterness. Some esters break through in the aftertaste. Mediocre ale.
