The return of our first ever blueberry sour blonde ale, and we couldn't be happier with the result. We kept adding fruit to our barrel-aged sour blonde ale until the taste was exactly what we wanted. A lovely shade of reddish purple with juicy flavors of tart blueberries.

Bottle, 75cl. 6.5%, unknown vintage. It pours a dense two-finger thick pinkish white head leaving lacing. Unclear copper colored body. The aroma has lots of blueberry, with fruity sourness, oak notes, a grassy touch, oat biscuit malts and even more berry aromas. It's tart, acidic and full-bodied, with a gentle carbonation. Berries, mostly blueberry, biscuits, grass notes, oak, lemon and some grass notes in the flavor. Some vinegar. Lasting finish. An intense but quite delicious beer indeed. 230408

750ml bottle pours a deep purple, no head. Nose has blueberry juice, cherry, raspberry, some tart red wine, some neutral barrel - maybe some riesling or gewurtztraminer. Funny the bottle say snappy, because this is exactly that, blueberry, white strawberry, raspberry, Bing cherry, some orange and ruby red grapefruit. Finishes tart, punchy, but quite smooth.

750 ml bottle, 2017 vintage. Dark red, medium hazy body, eith a small, beige head. Aroma of overripe fruits, blueberry skin, red apples, slight leather, slight oxidation. Tastes quite similar, with some citrus and almond. Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes, moderate dry, a bit sweet, a bit wooden, slightly vinous, with blueberry skin, some almond, green apples, subtle leather. Very nice. Maybe a bit too old, the fruits faded a bit and there's a slight oxidation in the nose. Still smooth to drink, with the blueberries noticeable. Score: 7 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 15

0,75l bottle at home shared by Saeglopur, big thanks. Bottled 03/22/2017. amber brownish hazy color, small white head. smells herbal, dill, spices, earthy. decent smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes earthy, grassy, herbal, some candy sugar sweetness, bit lactic, light resin, wood, hints of some blueberries, hints of some sherry. finishes rather dry and medium sour with notes of berry, lactic and some herbal notes. rather good to drink, not much blueberry left, smell was a bit weird, like most Terreux beers rather clean flavours profile, and although its quite on the sour side its smooth to drink

Bottle from Beergium. Pours almost clear purple with a faint head. Slight tartness, some berries but not very blueberry forward. Currants and oak dominating. Some light vanilla sweetness. Well rounded acidity and perfectly light body for a great summer beer. Great start of the night.
