500 ml can purchased in Martinique. Pours a clear light gold color with a white head and great retention. Good lacing. Streaming bubbles. Grainy, light booze aroma. Similar soft, grainy taste with a light alcohol finish. Not a lot going on, but no real bad flavors either. Mellow overall, especially for 7.0% ABV. WAY better than Martens 10.

50cl can at home on 6th Apr 2016, poured into a tall ’Schultheiess’ glass from years ago. Looked fine, bright, clean and clear golden colour with a full and deep snowy white crown. Went down hill from there though: harsh grain feel to the poorly hidden alcohol drenched brew, some nasty metallic flavours pushing through too. Headache inducing ’tramp juice’ really. Had to have another beer after this, just to get rid of the aftertaste.

F: big white, but not good retention. C: a little pale gold, clear. A: malty, grassy hops, hint of white sugar, caramel, straw. T: malt, corn, grassy hops, biscuits sugary, hay, light to medium body, average carbonated, compared to extra strong version much better but still bellow-average, 0,5l can from Match supermarket in Brussels.

Can poured into a tulip glass. Okay yellow, some small head on top, typical lager look. Smells of alcohol and syrup, slight hint of fruity notes if you really get deep in there. Taste is a harsh syrup that leaves a bitter taste in your mouth. Harsh carbonation. Tough to suck down. Blecch.

Can. A golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and a bit of hay, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
