On tap at Pig’s Ear BF 09. Hazy orange/copper colour. Belgian yeast aroma, very hoppy. Good leafy hop. Not too bitter, but lots of hop in evidence.

Bottle at GBBF 2009, cheers Alex. Amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma has a mix of grassy hops and spicy and fruity yeast. The flavour begins fruity, with some dusty/yeasty notes. Nice hop flavour and bitter finish. Quite impressive body, full like a tripel or even a barley wine.

A gift from Alex Liberati
Hazy copper color, with a huge head. The aroma is moderately hoppy, with light fruits. Medium toffee flavor, quite dry mouthfeel, with a spicy hopping, stronger than the ordinary Belgian ales, and with a hint of fruity hops. The final as well is more bitter than the average, and quite spicy. Refreshing.

Huge, slightly dirty head over clear copper-golden beer. Rather sharp, malty nose, bit milky, finally going over in dry, nearly USA-typed hops. Steamed corn warming up. Very bitter, both hops and earthy/leafy flavour, intense. Faint smoked touch, nice. Medium bodied, bit slick, very dry finish & MF. Whomever or wherever brews this/is this brewed, the beer deserves extra points for originality. Great!
