AleSmith is proud to release this long-awaited and intensely aromatic Russian Imperial Stout with Vietnamese coffee. We traditionally brew Vietnamese coffee, known as cà phê sữa đá, with a phin-style filter that gently percolates water through ground coffee. The result is a chocolaty and bold tasting coffee that perfectly complements the notes of oak, vanilla, and spice in this massive rye whiskey barrel-aged stout.

750ml bottle at share. I've been looking forward to this one for a while, and it didn't disappoint. All superlatives here. This is stunning, the way the roasted malts bring out some chocolate and the Vietnamese coffee plays its role and it's just wonderfully smooth tasty as f***, and then with a nice little bit of warmth. I can't say enough great things about this beer I wish I had more access to it.

750 mL bottle generously shared by luttonm. Huge thanks! This is an exceptional imperial stout. So smooth and delicious for it's strength. Nice, dense aroma of coffee, vanilla, milk chocolate, caramel. Flavor brings out plenty of the same, with a total maple, caramel, coffee, chocolate breakfast style constant reminder. Just an incredible brew, and impressive and unique variation here.

Pitch black pour with a tan head. Tons of rye whiskey in the nose; rye whiskey, chocolate, milk coffee, vanilla, oak, drip coffee. Smooth texture, full body. Delicious stuff.

Bottle shared at Kermis’ last THT. Bit of a gusher! Black with big but short lasting dark brown head. Lots of coffee, massive chocolate, light spices, soft cinnamon, light spicy rye whisky, vanilla, bourbon, soft booze, marzipan. Very sweet, soft boozy bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Super good, really like this.
