Soft biscuit malt from the lager malt. Refreshing bitterness from Challenger and Northdown hops. Delicate herbal, spicy and floral notes from the Northdown and a hint of soft fruits.

Light golden with small, stable white head. Aroma has malt and straw. Flavour is light malty and bready with late hop bitterness. Certainly drinkable, but not particularly memorable.

33cl bottle from Tescoβs, Cannonmills, Edinburgh. Golden amber with a loose white head; grassy aroma; smooth grainy body; and a decent, clean, grassy bitterness to finish. A pleasant pilsner.

Bouteille: Golden, clear, visible carbonation, stable and creamy white head; crisp grassy and grainy nose with a slight fruity touch; moderate dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied and soft; dry herbal-hoppy and grainy finish with - again - a certain fruitiness. O.K. β¦

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, golden colour with a blond and short foamy head. Strawy malty aroma with doughy notes and a spicy herbal hoppy background. Mildly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Initially malty with notes of sour dough and a subtle fruity touch, backed by herbal hoppy spice; delicately sourish and mildly bitter finish. A rather bland imitation/interpretation of a german Pils. 10.VI.14

Bottle. Pours clear pale golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with notes of hops. Sweetish, estery flavour, with bitter, hoppy notes and touches of malt. ROugh, estery aftertaste with subtle cardboard notes. OK but not mindblowing.

Bottle, 4.8%. Lagery aroma, some CO2, faint floral aroma hop. Clear golden colour. Small fizzy white head. The flavour is fizzy, nicely malty with a mild, but good spicy hop note. The bitterness gets a little sour in the finish, or perhaps it is a sour graininess. But on the whole not bad.
