Golden blond with 6% alc., malty, with a fine bitterness and a long aftertaste. The scent is complex, developing a fruity-hop intense fragrance.

On tap at Hops, Crewe. Pours a murky apricot with minimal almost white head and good lacing. There’s continental hops, yeast and lemongrass in the aroma, along with a trace of oranges. In the mouth it starts off somewhere between sharp, bitter and sweet but the bitterness eventually comes to dominate. Flavours of apricot, orange, coriander plus hints of dried fruit. Finish is quite dry. This is quite nice. Not an outstanding Belgian beer, but with some unusual flavours.

Aroma of yeast, apricot, orange sherbet and white bread. Flavour of coriander, sugar and lemon. Medium body with a smooth texture. Light fizz. Dry and easy drinking. Simple.

Bottle at home. Pours opaque golden with a thick, foamy, long lasting head. Nose is hoppy and yeast-driven, I get lots of grass and phenols, herbals and peppers. Taste is similar, and it combines with a dry body, and the result is moreish and thirst quenching. The level of phenols starts to be a bit overwhelming by the end, but it’s very much my cup of tea nevertheless.
