Julekrydder, appelsinmarmelade, milde urter. Saftig munnfølelse. Fin, krydret bitterhed i afslutningen.

Flaske 0,5l fra Vinmonopolet, Tromsø Sentrum. Drukket i heimen 21 Nov 12. Uklar siste kvelling. Mye bunnfall.

500ml bottle, batch 625, from Vinmonopolet Tromsø, Langnes. Deep dark amber coloured body. Unclear last pour. Tiny, but stable, beige layer. Modest aroma of earthy malts and mid-sweet caramel. Taste of dough and marmalade with star anise taking over towards the ending. Sweet finish. Soft in the mouth.Very average festive season beer (at home, decorating the Christmas tree, 23.12.2012).

Bottle, 2011 vintage. Pours hazy brown, with a nice creamy head. Light aroma of sweet malts, with notes of fruitiness and a light spicy whiff. Flavour is a bit too sweet and far too short lived, with plums, raisins and some dark fruits as well as molasses and sugar.
