Bottle at Hanne p hyden, Bergen. Very cloudy dark brown, like sewage. Nice aromas of leather and hint of hops. Flavours of berries, cloudberries and oak. Dry finish and light bitterness. Watery and slightly slick mouthfeel. Overall surprisingly dry and vinos taste with a twist of berries.

0.5l bottle, #498. This is a lightly clouded deep deep murky amber-brown beer with a small quickly fading and light sidesticking light beige head. The aroma has spicy and some almost sour tones. Malty with tones of caramel and something that reminds me of a lambic. Average carbonated with quite thin and almost watery mouthfeel. Kinda sweet on the flavors, near no bitterness. Also hints of spices towards the watery and quite sweet ending. In some strange way it both smells like and taste like a lambic without the sourness. Not my kind of Christmas brew.

500 ml bottle. Almost clear, amber body with a thin, dense beige head. Weak malty aroma with some caramel. Flavor is sweet malt, caramel, some fruit and a hint of acidity with traces of spices. Feels uninspired and a bit out of balance.

500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet. Brew #384. ABV is 6%. Dark brown colour, slightly hazy, big cream-coloured head. Nice aroma of Christmas spices and caramel malts, hints of oranges. Rather light bodied for a 6% beer. The flavour is somewhat acidic and citrussy, notes of Christmas spices, not much sweetness, very moderate hops. Drinkable, but far from the best Christmas beer I’ve had.
