Ein trübes, honigfarbenes Bier mit feinporigem, weissen Schaum. In der Nase ausgeprägte Getreide- und Malznoten begleitet von Zitrusnoten ergibt einen fruchtig frischen Eindruck. Leicht prickelnd am Gaumen mit gut eingebundener Bittere. Der Abgang ist langanhaltend und eher trocken. Ein vollmundiges, gut ausbalanciertes und harmonisches Bier.
Seit 2004 in gleichbleibender Rezeptur und Qualität gebraut, nach Reinheitsgebot, also ausschliesslich aus unbehandeltem Bergquellwasser, aus «Gran Alpin»-Malz, aus biologisch angebautem Schweizer Hopfen und Schweizer biologischer untergäriger Hefe. Mit diesen ausschliesslich Schweizer Zutaten und ausschliesslich Unterengadiner Wertschöpfung darf BE Biera Engiadinaisa® die «Bio-Knospe» tragen.

Buying it at the coop, Davos. Tasting it after a beautiful day at Sils/Maria. A rather basical beer, not bad, not great with some light notes of malt and wheat, mineral and dry with some hop at the final, 23.10.21

Bottle from Drinks Of The World, St Gallen, for the train home after a day in the city. Pale golden brew for the swift rail journey to Konstanz. Palatable but unremarkable lager, although fairly soft in the palate and this does transfer as a smoothness.

slightly opalescent pale yellow colour, huge, dense and stable white head; aroma of hay, fresh cut grass, slight herbal and lemongrassy-lemon zesty notes; taste of malty sweetness,, herbal and slight mint(???) notes; not bad at all
