Draught @ Bishops Arms Järntorget. Pours dark borwn, almost black, with a small frothy gray head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is sweet and malty with cookies, banana bread, dry wood, toffee, coffee, cocoa powder and hints of barnyardesque hay. Taste is sweet and malty with sweet bread, dark grapes, dry wood, roasted malts, burnt cookies, leather, coffee hard candy and hints of glue. Mouthfeel is soft, round, smooth and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with cocoa powder, toasted malts, wood, sweetened coffee and dark bread. Balanced, nice and has held up pretty well during the years. Not in any way an imperial stout though.

On tap at Bishops Arms, Vasagatan, Stockholm. The beer had a very dark brown color, the foam was thick and nicely tanned. A pleasant aroma of malt, dark chocolate, some coffee, licorice and something sweet. The flavor contained a lot of dark chocolate and licorice, the liquid seemed dry. Furthermore there were some dark berries and burnt malt notes. Good, sweet and very drinkable.
