Amber colored beer with a mildly bitter taste and some caramelised malt. Liked it.

Draught @ Nederlands Biercafe ‘t Arendsnest, Herengracht 90, Amsterdam, Netherlands.Unclear medium orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, grapefruit, orange, mandarin. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Again a lovely brew from Menno .. thumbs up ;O) [20091210]

33cl Bottle at ’t Arendsnest. This beer is now brewed at De Molen, no longer at De Prael. And it shows, this is one hoppy beast! Hazy amber orange colour, dense fluffy off white head. Aroma is superb, almost perfect with lots of very nice grapefruit aroma’s, resin, sweet and spicy, bit yeasty. Flavour is sweet, grapefruit, caramel, citrus, resiny bitter finish. Medium to fullbodied. Just gorgeous! Will be available on tap soon, as I’ve been told.

Tap, Arendsnest. Wall-menu stated 6%, Cambrinus website 5.5%. I don’t know exactly where this brew was produced, but it’s from De Snaterende Arend and that’s most important. Clear amber color, big off-white head. Aroma of fruit like grapefruit, american hops, some pine. Very nice. Bitter and fruity taste. Bitter palate. One way or another: quite nice!
