Cask @ Polished Knob, Todmorden. Amber with a creamy head. A smooth bitter with some small fruit notes, but nothing that is dominant above its crisp medium body.

GBBF. Cask. Clear gold beer. Semi soft and semi dry palate. No carbonation. Watery malt and insipid apologetic hop. Finishes watery. Appreciated the pump clip but the beer was a let down!

Cask @ 3 Judges. Hazy golden colour, medium white head. Aroma is soft malty, some citrus, yeasty, bit metallic. Flavou is soft malted, biscuit, citric. Fairly dry and bitter. Ok stuff.

Cask at the Kingston Arms, Cambridge. Straw coloured with a thin loose white head; apple aroma; sweet honeyed malt flavour with dusty hops to finish. A simple and straightforward bitter.

Cask @ GBBF 2009. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty floral hoppy aroma. Slightly sweetish malty fruity hoppy flavor with some hints of citrus. Has a fruity malty hoppy finish with some hints of caramel in the aftertaste.

Cask @ GBBF 09, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, apple notes, light hoppy, citrus - orange. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090806]

Cask@GBBF 2009. Golden color, small white head. Apple fruity aroma. Flat mouthfeel. Fruity: apples and pear in the flavor, some dry hops in the finish. Quite bland and a bit cidery-like.

Cask@GBBF2009. Golden colour, small white bubbly head. Aroma is wooden, mildly eggy, earthy and also has some slight floral hoppy notes. Flavour is sour wood, some honey, mild notes of birchsap.

Cask-conditioned at The Royal Oak, Bath 6/9/08. Pale amber with a slight white head. Inoffensive in the extreme, with some fruit in the aroma, sweetish malt and a slight bitter finish.
