This beer is a delicious straw-coloured session beer, dominated by crisp, fresh, citrus hop character from classic German "noble hops".
Brewed with a balance of best British Ale Malt and Lager Malt, this beer exhibits a pale straw colour. The aroma combines a zesty attack and an apricot fruitiness with the subtle floral hop notes of the Styrian Golding, Saaz and Hallertauer Hersbrucker hops.
Moderate levels of residual sweetness are balanced by a crisp, well-rounded bitterness to give a clean, refreshing mouthfeel in the best traditions of pilsners – pint after pint!

Bottle, gift from Pamela H. Hazy pale golden body with a thin white head that holds well. Fine carbonation. Nice lacing. Aroma of grain, hay and a hint of lemon. Flavour is exactly like the aroma with a crisp, bitter quality. Clean and grassy. Medium body with an oily texture. Light fizz. Supremely drinkable.

Cask @ JDW Elgin [100313] Light straw, clear, frothy white head, good lacing Aroma of very light citrus, hint of lemon, soft fruits, very light cereal malt Taste as aroma, soft lemon citrus, light pale malt, refreshing Palate - thin body, bit watery, light tangy palate. Finish of soft lemon, bit more tangy lemon in finish Overall - Very simple beer, easy, refreshing, decent enough but got bored by the end of the pint..... ok up from 11 to 12 (JDW elgin) (120313)

Cask at the Grill, Aberdeen. It pours slightly hazy straw yellow, with a big, fluffy white head. The nose is white bread, toasted malt, hay and floral. The taste is lemon, lime, toasted white bread, straw, hay, soap, floral and light honey sweetness, with a light bitter finish. Light body and soft carbonation. A refreshing, easy drinking cask light ale.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 09, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, moderate hoppy, green grass, light citrus - lemon. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090806]
