On cask at JDW, Galashiels - Light copper body with a slight white head and lacing. Slightly malty in the nose but pretty bland otherwise. Nutty flavour with plenty of malt. Nothing special, but nothing offensive either.

Hazy amber beer with a sweet initial flavour and a dry, tangy finish. Quite refreshing.

Cask @ Golden Rule, Edinburgh
Dark golden amber, creamy white head, some lacing.
Aroma of fruity sweet caramel malts, not much on the nose
Taste - sweet caramel malts, honey, light fruits, some herbal notes, vague hint of almond? (!)
Palate - soft carb. medium body, oily, dryish. Some biscuit in the finish.
Overall - Slightly unusual flavour - one of their better beers.

In tap at the Queen’s Arms. Pours dark amber with a proportionate head. Nose of raisins, apricots with the toffee and expected biscuit crunch at the end. Taste of more apricots and toffee. Palate medium with a fairly balanced finish. Overall, liked it enough to take another.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Draft at the Brew Wharf mini beer festival. Complex beer. Fruity and malty notes. Quite a lot going on but mild.

Cask at the Bon Accord, Glasgow, via hanpump through sparkler, on 22 April 2010. Amber with thick lasting and lacing creamy white head. Malty without being excessively sweet. Pungent earthy aroma and notes of berry fruit. Malt returns in the finish on a smooth creamy mouthfeel that encourages fast drinking.
