Cask @ The Royal Oak, Shrewsbury. Golden pour with a misty that refuses to clear. Blackcurrant cordial swirling in the white head. Took it back, expecting the barman to pour a new beer, but instead it was poured into a new glass. Took one sip and felt a lumpiness in the foam.. spat it back out. Rated objectively, and fully intend to try again.

Clear and golden, with a frothy white head with hints of hints of biscuit, floral hops and maybe honey on the nose. Light bodied, very slightly grainy, it's a nice enough biscuity golden ale with a decent floral bitterness
