With its unique citrus character, smooth drinkability, and distinctive hop character, Drifter Pale Ale is truly an original. Brewed with generous amounts of Summit hops, a variety known for their intense citrus flavors and aromas, Drifter has a taste unique to the Pale Ale category. True to style, the bittering hops are perceptible enough to give the beer a crisp, clean, quenching finish, yet also soft enough to keep the beer smooth and balanced.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of peach as well as light notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of peaches as well as light notes of hops. The body is thin. Thanks to Michael Jordan for this beer.

Hazy amber color, small head. Light aroma of passion fruit and oranges, the same is stronger in the flavor; the body is quite weak, thereβs some toffee flavor, medium dry; correct bitterness. Nice hopping, but simple backbone. Pleasant.

Beautiful amber color. Very nice aroma, hoppy and fruity and with sweet wood resins. The body is quite thin, with some caramel flavor (not much interesting so far), but the hopping is very good: bitter, fruity and resiny, very balanced. Something is missing (the body), but itβs pleasant.

Clear dark orange with a fleeting white head. Little to no aroma. Light, fruity flavor. I just donβt care for American Wheat Beer.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Ungstrup. Clear, amber golden with an off-white head. Fresh, piney aroma also with peach and citrus. Medium body with a soft mouthfeel. Lightly sweet malts and fresh, fruity hop accents without any major hop bite. Nice and pleasant. 171107

Golden-brassy, thin head. Earthy, herbaceous hops. Has a touch of sweetness, vaguely earthy hop...would prefer more brightness.

12 oz bottle. Clear golden body with a rather short beige head. Strong aroma of citrus, peaches, grapefruit and malt. Really refreshing flavor, much milder than expected from the heavy aroma. Fruity, citrus, hoppy, hay, yeast and malt. Surprisingly fresh and aromatic beer at a low alcohol. Interesting and pleasant.

Bottled. Clear, golden, topped by a small beige head. The aroma starts with something reminiscent of cats pee, but is very soon replaced by peach, lots of grapefruit and some malt. It has a nice, but a bit one-dimentional flavor with lots of grapefruity bitterness. Medium body and a long, but weak finish. Even though it has a bit strange nose and a one-dimentional flavor I liked it. (070302)

Bottle Pours a thick syrupy amber that even after a vigerous pour, generated only a small corse sandy colored head. A thin ring and wispy sheeting lacing is maintained. Classic PNW hop aroma citrusy, orange and fresh. Rather hefty, sweet malt profile and while the hop bitterness is not over poawering, there is plenty of flavor. Bold and balanced, with a thick palate. Satisfying !
