A lightly hazed blonde with a thick white head. A grainy rye aroma. A watery grainy beer, with light honey, no character. Blaaahh! Flour City brewfest, August 15 2008.

12 oz bottle from Safeway, Port Angeles; Nose is spicy with light fruity esters; clear urine yellow with a medium yellowish head; flavor is lightly bitter with some light pepperiness. With the light bitterness would be a decnt lawnmower ale.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head that diminishes quickly to nothing. The aroma is rye bread, malt and floral. Decent lacing on the glass. The taste is a sweet citrus with a crisp finish. Easy to drink, a good blond ale from Redhook.

Bottle. Aroma of biscuit and citrus? Very faint. Brassy gold color with essentially no head. Thinnish in body with biting carbonation. The flavor is pale malt/bread, arguably citrus, arguably grassy hop. The finish is almost like having had water. Ok, light and crisp, but not a great deal of flavor. Still, it seems very drinkable. After awhile some bitterness builds in the mouth. For not much of anything, it is something.

Corn and honey aroma, moderate strength. Amber color, almost no head. Thin mouthfeel. Virtually flavorless, maybe mulberries. A bit of tinny hops on the palate, but weak. My rating is pretty generous.

Smells a little vinegary or sour, certainly not sweet. Looks like the ubiquitous pale yellow american lager, no head. Very little if any haze. Mild tasting with little if any bitterness. Has a sour mild hint on the center if the tongue but that fades rapidly. I’ll be surprised if this is not a pale ale. Good carbonation and it’s appreciated. Fun and interesting mild ale flavors, nearly like a clean wheat beer. Finish has barely noticeable beer effect, no bitterness and short well mannered behavior. After a few minutes, a mild industrial bitterness takes the beers final taste. As good as Pete’s Rally cap and H&H Whitetail ale. Much better than Balantine xxx and Kochs Golden Anniversary Beer

Bottle. Lemongrass malt aroma. Medium yellow color with small head. Very light taste of rye malt is about all you get from this flavorwise with a mild hops finish. Nothing offensice - just very weak and bland.

Bottle: Pours a clear golden color with a white head that disapates quickly. Aroma was faint of malts and grassiness. Taste is smooth of sweet maltiness, a little yeast, a little lemon, and a little rye. Not bad flavor, but very mild overall.
