six barley malts, including a touch of organic rye. The opalescent golden color of Sunrye is a result of its unfiltered nature. Light and crisp, this brew was made for slaking summer thirsts.

I figured this for a lawnmower-type beer so I had one after mowing the lawn. Pours a yellowish-orange with a medium off-white head. Aroma of rye and yeast. Rather thin-bodied, and to me it tasted like a macro with some rye thrown in. The rye aftertaste saves it from being a drain pour but this is still a below-average beer.

Rerate June 3/03: Pale yellow with small white head. Lightly acidic nose. Not much here, the rye is undetectable, the only thing noticeable is a touch of hops.

Nothing special. Minimal contribution from the rye.........................
